Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that senior Tottenham duo Harry Kane and Toby Alderweireld could return as soon as Wednesday.
Pochettino told media that they would both be unavailable to feature against Premier League champions Leicester City on Saturday, but could feature against Bayer Leverkusen.
ESPN’s Tottenham correspondent Dan Kilpatrick quoted Pochettino on his personal Twitter account as saying that the duo could feature on Wednesday, as they host Bayer at Wembley.

Belgium international Toby Alderweireld is currently sidelined with a problem relating to the nerves in his knee, while Kane has been sidelined after being stretchered off the pitch last month against Sunderland.
It means that Eric Dier could be set to feature at centre back once again in place of Alderweireld, while Pochettino must decide between Vincent Janssen or Son Heung-Min to lead the North London’s side attack against Leicester.
However, both could be in line to start against their German Group E rivals, as they look to secure qualification into the knockout stages of the Champions League.
Spurs currently sit in second behind French outfit Monaco, after beating Russian giants CSKA Moscow. A win would strengthen their chances of qualification and could see them move to the top of the group.
In other Tottenham team news, this fringe Spurs star could be set to leave White Hart Lane in the summer.
