Tottenham are eyeing up a Ligue 1 triple swoop this summer, according to a French report.

L’Equipe claim Spurs are closely monitoring France-based trio Michy Batshuayi, Alexandre Lacazette and Samuel Umtiti.

Strike duo Batshuayi of Marseille and Lacazette of Lyon are being tracked as the Londoners look to reinforce their forward line in the summer.

Only Zlatan Ibrahimovic has scored more Ligue 1 goals this season than Lacazette, who has 17 to his name and 20 in 40 from all competitions.

Batshuayi is yet another Belgium international who could be heading to the Premier League on the back of his goal scoring and creating exploits.

The 22-year-old has scored 20 goals and supplied 10 assists in 46 matches in all competitions this season, including 15 goals and nine assists from 33 league encounters.

Yet, according to L’Equipe, it is Spurs’ interest in Umtiti that is the most advanced of the trio.

It is said that Tottenham are very keen on the 22-year-old defender and will “imminently” table a bid.

Umtiti has been a mainstay of the Lyon team this season and is able to play at either left-back or centre-half.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino will be keen to find value in the transfer market this summer as he looks to strengthen a squad that has exceeded all expectations this season.

Spurs are second in the Premier League ahead of their home match against West Brom on Monday night and five points behind leaders Leicester, who host Swansea on Sunday afternoon.

In other Tottenham transfer news, there has been a twist in the club’s new striker pursuit.
