Long-term absentee Clinton N’Jie is fully fit as manager Mauricio Pochettino reported a virtually clean bill of health among his squad ahead of Monday’s Premier League showdown against West Brom.

The Cameroon international has been given the green light to return to the squad to further increase the options for the title challengers.

Pochettino said there is huge competition for places ahead of the clash against Tony Pulis’ side, with Nabil Bentaleb the only member of the first-team squad unavailable due to a knee injury that will sideline him for the rest of the campaign.

Speaking on Friday, as quoted by the official Tottenham Twitter account, Pochettino said: “Bentaleb is still recovering. Everyone else is fit and available for selection.”

Spurs are second in the Premier League although they remain five points behind leaders Leicester despite convincingly winning their last two matches against Stoke and Manchester United.

N’jie has been out for four months after undergoing surgery on the his medial collateral ligament (MCL) in his right knee in December.

The impending return of the 22-year-old winger could give Pochettino a valuable extra option in the team’s title run-in.

The other principal Tottenham team news is that there have been no new injuries picked up in the wake of the 4-0 win at Stoke.

Spurs host West Brom on Monday at White Hart Lane 24 hours after Leicester play Swansea at the King Power Stadium.
