Pontus Jansson hailed Leeds’ victory over Burton on Saturday afternoon highlighting that the team “just keep going, game by game.”

Garry Monk’s side secured their seventh league victory in the campaign, as they overcame Nigel Clough’s Burton with a 2-0 victory at Elland Road.

A penalty goal from Chris Wood alongside a Souleymane Doukara goal were enough to secure Leeds the three points, lifting the Yorkshire giants into ninth place and one point behind Bristol City in the play offs.

On-loan Jansson has emerged as a  key member of Leeds’ team during their excellent recent run after leapfrogging Liam Cooper in the centre-back pecking order at Elland Road.

He delivered another colossal display on Saturday as Monk’s team look to finish in the Championship promotion spots.

Speaking on his personal Twitter account in the aftermath of the win over Burton, Jansson hailed he victory before stating that a tough match against Norwich is coming up.

The Swede played the full 90 minutes of the win over Burton at the heart of Leeds defence alongside Kyle Bartley with the duo helping the famous club to keep a clean sheet.

They will face Norwich at Carrow Road next, who Leeds beat in the week in the EFL Cup on penalties, while Alex Neil’s side also suffered a humiliating 5-0 loss against Brighton on Saturday.
