West Brom had an amusing dig at Aston Villa on Twitter following their 4-0 victory against Burnley at the Hawthorns on Monday evening.
It was the second time West Brom scored four goals and won against a team wearing the colours claret and blue this season after they defeated West Ham 4-2 in September.
The Premier League club made a point on its official Twitter account of saying they couldn’t produce another four-goal performance against a team in the same colours, following Aston Villa’s relegation from the English top flight last season.

The Baggies’ local rivals are currently struggling in the depths of the Championship while West Brom’s victory took them into the top half of the Premier League.
The joke didn’t go down too well on social media though after Baggies’ fans reacted in frustration, claiming West Brom didn’t take their chance to achieve the feat last season.
The last encounter between the two sides ended in a disappointing 0-0 draw for Tony Pulis’ side and they only managed to score one goal past Villa in the away fixture earlier in the campaign.
West Brom know what it feels like to concede four goals during a defeat when they suffered the feat against Manchester City at the end of last month.
Since then, they have gone on to record victories against Leicester and Burnley and will go into Saturday’s fixture against Hull City as favourites.
Villa currently sit in 17th place in the Championship table but they have markedly improved under Steve Bruce since he took over from Roberto Di Matteo in October.
In other Aston Villa news, Steve Bruce has made a bold claim about the club.
