Georges-Kevin N’Koudou is training with the Tottenham squad, according to a report.

Sky Sports reported on their transfer centre blog on Friday (12:39pm) that N’Koudou is training with Spurs as they continue negotiations with Marseille to finalise the transfer.

French publication L’Equipe claimed last week that Spurs and Marseille had reached an agreement to finally end the month-long N’Koudou transfer saga.

It is said that N’Koudou will join the Londoners on a permanent deal and Clinton N’Jie will head the other way on a loan-to-buy deal.

Sky Sports reported last week on their official Twitter account that Spurs had agreed a fee of £11million for the winger.

The transfers had appeared to be off at the end of last month due to boardroom changes at the Ligue 1 club as well as the structure of the payments.

However, French newspaper L’Equipe claimed in its print edition on Tuesday, as cited by the Sun, that winger N’Koudou had remained in London while he waited for the green light to complete the move.

The deal has been held up while the two clubs haggle over the specifics of the fee, with L’Equipe reporting that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy wanted a special hamstring clause inserted into the agreement.

N’Koudou, 21, joined Marseille from Nantes during last summer and the winger proved to be one of the signings of the Ligue 1 campaign, scoring 10 goals and providing 5 assists in 41 matches in all competitions.

N’Koudou’s exploits were all the more impressive due to the fact that he was playing for a struggling Marseille side.

N’Jie, who has struggled to break into the Spur side after suffering injuries and mixed form since joining from Lyon last summer, was pictured in training at Tottenham’s Enfield headquarters last week.

In other Tottenham transfer news, Mauricio Pochettino sanctioned the club to bid for a player he has called the next Ronaldo.
