Liverpool have slapped a £68 million price-tag on Philippe Coutinho amid fresh interest from Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, according to a report.
Le10Sport claim the Reds are intent on keeping hold of their star player and will not sell him for less than the demanded price.
Coutinho was voted the club’s Player of the Year for the last two successive seasons and was recently voted the Player of the Month for October.
He’s emerged as one of the Premier League’s best players since making the switch to Merseyside in 2013 for £8.5 million from Inter Milan.
The Brazilian’s contract doesn’t run out until 2020 so Liverpool are demanding a big price for the forward who has scored four goals in 10 league games this season.
The Reds currently sit in third position in the Premier League table, level on points at the top with Arsenal and Manchester City.
If they hope to win the league title, keeping hold of Coutinho will be vital and he is expected to start against Watford this Sunday in their latest league clash.
In other Liverpool transfer news, the club are planning a January swoop for this sensational youngster.
