Liverpool have made a £15million bid for young Croatian wonderkid Ante Coric, according to a report.
Croatian media outlet Tportal claim that the Merseyside club have submitted an offer for the 19-year-old attacking midfielder.
Tportal report that their source tells them a deal could be done quickly as Jurgen Klopp wants Coric in his squad before Liverpool head off for their US tour, meaning a decision cold be made by Wednesday.
It is believed that the Croatia international is also attracting the attentions of West Ham, Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester City.
The attacking midfielder from Dinamo Zagreb is highly rated in Croatia and has been likened in his homeland to Manchester City’s David Silva.
The youngster attracted scouts from several European teams, as he scored five goals and supplied six assists during Dinamo Zagreb’s title winning season in the recently completed season.
It was also reported on Football Insider that Reds manager Jurgen Klopp had made personal contact with Coric in an attempt to persuade him to move to Anfield.
The Croatian club accept they face a battle to hang on to the youngster and their bid to drive up the price is helped by interest from the large number of Premier League club’s in their player.
