Inter Milan stars Gary Medel and Marcelo Brozovic could become the two newest members of Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool revolution.
Spanish news outlet AS claim that the Merseysiders are keeping close tabs on the midfield duo.
It is said Chilean international Medel has been put up for sale by Inter boss Roberto Mancini, while Brozovic has been linked with a £21million move to Merseyside for a number of weeks.
Medel has Premier League experience with Cardiff City, and the tenacious midfielder can also play as a centre-back.
He has two years remaining on his deal at the San Siro, and Klopp is said to be keen on adding the 28-year-old to stabilise his midfield.
Klopp was in the United States to watch Medel star for his country, as Chile held aloft the Copa America trophy and was evidently impressed with the former Sevilla midfielder.
Croatian star Brozovic has also been linked with a move to The Reds, after starring at Euro 2016.
The 23-year-old can play as a box-to-box central midfielder or in a more advanced role and scored seven goals in all competitions last season, adding another five in assists.
Brozovic joined Inter on an initial 18-month loan deal in the 2015 winter window and his form for the Serie A giants convinced Mancini to tie him down on a permanent basis this summer.
Former Borussia Dortmund manager Klopp has signed Sadio Mane, Joel Matip and Marko Grujic this summer and is close to finalising a deal for Estonian defender Ragnar Klavan from Bundesliga club Augsburg.
In other Liverpool news, Klopp will have to pay £27million to sign this Holland international.
