Philippe Coutinho could be set to leave Liverpool this summer as the attacking midfield ace signs with a new agent who wants a move away from Anfield, according to a report.

Football website Goal claim that Coutinho has just signed with well-known agent Kia Joorabchian and that it is the new representative’s main aim to get the Brazil international away from Anfield.

However, the Goal article does go on to claim that the Reds have no interest in selling the 24-year-old attacking midfielder, who was linked with European giants Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain earlier in the year.

Since moving to England from Inter Milan in January 2013 the number 10 has been a key player in the Liverpool team.

The playmaker, who has four-years left on his current deal, starred in 43 encounters for the Merseyside club in the recently completed season  scoring 12 goals and providing seven assists.

He played a vital role in the Reds ‘impressive European campaign playing 13 times and scoring two goals while also supplying two assists as Liverpool made it to the Europa League final, where they suffered a 3-1 defeat against Sevilla.

The Brazil international is returning from a torrid time with his country after the South Americans were knocked out in the group stages of the Copa America this summer.

In other Liverpool news, the Reds are going head-to-head with Italian giants Napoli in a race to sign Ante Coric, Hector Herrera and Piotr Zielinski.
