Tottenham are ready to sell Ryan Mason with newly-promoted Hull keen on the £10million rated midfielder, according to a report.
The Sun claim that Tigers boss Steve Bruce wants to land the 25-year-0ld central midfielder if his promoted side can sort out their affairs behind the scenes.
Mason lost his place in Mauricio Pochettino’s side through injury last season and the Spurs youth graduate may find it hard to get back into the side after their third place finish.
The Argentine manager has already brought in Victor Wanyama from Southampton to take up a role in his midfield and it is understood that he is looking for another midfielder.
It is also believed that Tottenham are ready to offload another midfielder with the north London side willing to sell Nabil Bentaleb for a cut-price fee, as reported on Football Insider.
Hull currently have three of Mason’s former team-mates in their squad with club captain Michael Dawson, Tom Huddlestone and Jake Livermore and Bruce hopes that these players will help convince Mason that a move to Humberside will be beneficial for him.
The London-born player has one cap to his name after representing England against Italy in 2015, as he replaced Jordan Henderson in the last 15 minutes of a 1-1 draw.
The five-time loanee played in 29 encounters for the north London club in all competitions in the recently completed season scoring two goals.
In other Tottenham news, goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has emerged as a £35million target for Real Madrid.
