West Ham have been alerted as Jose Sosa has missed the last two Besiktas training sessions as he looks to force through a move, according to a report.

Hammers news site ReadWestHam claim that the east London club could reignite their interest in the 31-year-old, despite being on the brink of signing Gokhan Tore.

The attacking midfielder was originally linked with West Ham in June, but Slaven Bilic cooled his interest in Sosa as they progressed with a deal for Tore.

As reported on Football Insider West Ham will confirm the signing of winger Gökhan Töre from Besiktas on Monday

It is also understood that there is interest from China in Sosa, but the Argentina international’s most likely destination is believed to be Europe.

Besiktas have informed all interested parties that they are looking for £5million to part ways with the former Bayern Munich man who scored 9 goals and provided 14 assists in 41 appearances last season as the Turkish giants won their 14th league title.

Sosa, who has two years left on his current contract has had a highly decorated career winning eight trophies which include the Bundesliga and La Liga title while also winning a 2008 summer Olympics gold medal with Argentina.

In other West Ham news, Hammers star Dimitri Payet has claimed he did not mean to injure Cristiano Ronaldo.
