Former Tottenham and Liverpool striker Robbie Keane might still be concentrating on playing, but his future lies in management after he posted an image on Instagram.
Keane, currently playing for LA Galaxy in America, posted an image on Friday confirming that he’s passed his UEFA A and B coaching licences.
“Delighted to have earned my A-B licenses,” Keane said. “Thanks to Jason Donohue & everyone at the FAI still concentrating on playing for a few years but these will come in handy in a few years.”
The striker, who joined LA Galaxy in 2011, has also played for Leeds, Wolves, Coventry, Liverpool, Celtic, West Ham and Aston Villa in the UK as well as teams in Europe.
He has enjoyed a prolific spell at LA Galaxy in the MLS, where he has scored an impressive 104 goals in 163 games across all competitions.
He announced his retirement from international football in August, as he looks to win more silverware with LA Galaxy after helping them to the MLS Western Conference semi-finals.
In other Tottenham news, Mauricio Pochettino admits that there is massive pressure on this striker to emulate Harry Kane.
