Robbie Savage has revealed he believes Arsenal will be too strong for Tottenham in the London derby this Sunday at the Emirates.

The two sides go head-to-head in an eagerly anticipated Premier League clash on Sunday and Savage hailed the fit-again Aaron Ramsey as a key player.

The former midfielder is convinced Arsenal will win, but believes it could have been a different story if the two teams had met at the start of the season.

“Arsenal are in fine form. Three or four weeks ago i think this game would have been a bit different,” Savage told the Mirror.

“I watched Spurs lose to Leverkusen at Wembley. They didn’t create that much. They need goals from midfield. Arsenal on the other hand – Mesut Ozil’s goal was absolutely stunning.

“They have got Aaron Ramsey back. I think Arsenal will win this game.”

Arsenal are currently level on points with Manchester City and Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table and have not lost a game since their opening game defeat against the Merseysiders.

Tottenham have secured just one victory in their last seven games, despite remaining unbeaten in the league but go into the game off the back of a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League.

Spurs were also knocked out of the top four in the league table after Chelsea recorded a 2-0 win over West Ham last Sunday and they are now three points below their London rivals.

In other Arsenal news, Real Madrid tried to lure this senior Gunners man earlier this year.
