Former Premier League player Robbie Savage has claimed Tottenham will not finish in the top four this season.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are currently one point and one place outside of the Champions League places, with their rivals Arsenal sitting in fourth place.
Spurs beat newly-promoted Burnley at the weekend to recorded back-to-back wins within the space of four days.
They will be looking to replicate their form of last season, when they finished in third place, before being denied a runners-up spot on the last day of the season after losing at Newcastle.
When former Wales international Savage was asked by Twitter users whether Tottenham can finish in a Champions spot, this was his response.
“No, I don’t think they will,” Savage told Mirror football, as posted on his personal Twitter account. “I think Tottenham will miss out.”

Pochettino’s side are currently on 33 points from 17 league games, one behind Arsenal in fourth, but ten behind leaders Chelsea.
Academy product Harry Kane, who was their focal point to achieving great success last term, will be looking to fire them to the Champions League once again.
The England international has scored seven goals in 12 Premier League games, but he has missed five league fixtures through injury.
The north London club are set to play three games over the course of seven days in what will turn out to be an important period of the season.
Spurs will first travel to the south coast to take on Southampton on December 28, they will then start the new year with a game against Watford, before a crucial London derby against Chelsea on January 4.
In other Tottenham news, this player has been all hype but no execution which is why he is Spurs’ flop of the year.
