Liverpool midfielder Ryan Kent is attracting a lot of interest from the Championship, according to a report.
Merseyside publication The Liverpool Echo claims that seven clubs are vying to take the 19-year-old winger on loan with Barnsley, Bristol City and recently relegated MK Dons the named clubs chasing the Reds youngster.
Kent spent four months of last season on loan at League One side Coventry City and Jurgen Klopp will now allow the England Under-20 international to go out again as he looks to continue his development.
It is believed that the Tykes, who won promotion through the League One play-offs during the 2015-16, will look to replace former loanee Lloyd Isgrove, who returns to parent club Southampton, with the Liverpool wide man.
Due to new Football League loan rules, the Yorkshire club will have to take the youngster on a loan until January or for the full season, with clubs now unable to recall loans at short notice. The emergency loan window has also been scrapped, so any deal will have to be made this window.
Kent made 17 appearances while on loan at the Sky Blues during the 2015-16 season, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
He made a solo appearance for Liverpool in their FA Cup tie with Exeter before finishing the season with the Anfield club’s Under-21s where he scored three goals and provided two assists in 14 encounters.
In other Liverpool transfer news, the Reds are in hot pursuit of Aston Villa left-back Jordan Amavi.
