Arsenal supporters on Twitter have agreed that they would love Diego Simeone to become their next manager after Ladbrokes slashed the odds of him replacing Arsene Wenger from 16/1 to 7/1 on Friday morning.
The north London club have been put on high alert after Diego Simeone reportedly reduced his Atletico Madrid contract from 2020 to 2018.
Spanish outlet AS report that the 46-year-old will leave the La Liga club at the end of next season.
Arsenal supporters agreed that they would love the Argentine to become their next boss as he is both ruthless and a winner.
Simeone has been highly praised for his work with Atletico having lifted the Spanish title in 2013/14 ahead of powerhouses Real Madrid and Barcelona.
However, one Arsenal fan was not supportive of the former midfielder becoming the club’s next manager as he felt Simeone’s lack of English will make him an unrealistic target.
But another supporter was delighted to see Simeone’s name linked with the Emirates job as he named his dream team of club legend Thierry Henry being assistant to the highly-rated coach.
Overall the Arsenal faithful were welcoming to the news of the Argentine possibly becoming their next manager.
Here is a selection of Arsenal supporters on Twitter giving their verdict on Simeone:

I think Simeone as next manager is completely unrealistic. Man does not even speak English?
Wenger won't want him.
