Tottenham’s Son Heung-min currently tops the pile in the Sky Sports Power Rankings after the seventh week of the Premier League season.
The South Korea international has been in impressive form recently with five goals in six matches and he was chosen to lead the line during Sunday’s 2-0 victory against Manchester City.
Sky Sports release their Power Rankings weekly, with players’ performances ranked across 32 different matchday stats.
Son was not alone in the top 20 in terms of Tottenham players, with goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and weekend goalscorer Dele Alli placed in 10th and 15th respectively.
Spurs’ fierce rivals Arsenal have two players just behind Son with Alexis Sanchez in second and Laurent Koscielny in third following their 1-0 victory over Burnley at the weekend.
Tottenham are currently in second place in the league table and sit one point behind Pep Guardiola’s league leaders, who had won each of their six fixtures before the White Hart Lane clash.
The north London side will face Tony Pulis’ West Brom side after the international, with the Midlands club currently placed in ninth place.
Former attacker Nacer Chadli is also in good form following his summer move and has placed in 29th in the power rankings, making him West Brom’s top player.
In other Tottenham team news, Jermaine Jenas labelled Spurs midfielder Victor Wanyama as “immense” following the 2-0 win over Manchester City on Sunday.
