Philippe Coutinho is a clear early leader in the Sky Sports Power Rankings after the first week of the Premier League season.
Coutinho scored twice as Liverpool beat Arsenal 4-3 at the Emirates on Sunday, the first of which was a brilliant free-kick into the top left corner.
Sky Sports release their Power Rankings weekly, with players’ performances ranked across 32 different matchday stats.
Coutinho was not alone in the top 10 in terms of Liverpool players, with new Sadio Mane and Adam Lallana taking sixth and eighth spots respectively after both scoring against Arsenal.
Senegal international Mane joined the Reds from Southampton earlier in the summer for £34million and he managed to get on the scoresheet with a stunning solo effort on his debut, which was well received by the Anfield faithful on Twitter.
Mane joined Liverpool after two-years of Premier League experience on the south coast with Southampton and will be looking to continue the form shown in his debut.
New Manchester United signing Zlatan Imbrahimovic announced his arrival in the league with a goal against Bournemouth, and that performance saw him take second spot in the standings.
Chelsea were represented by feisty frontman Diego Costa, who scored a crucial 89th minute winner against West Ham on Monday night.
In other Liverpool news, manager Jurgen Klopp blocks a deal for a Brazil midfielder.
