Georges-Kevin N’Koudou’s move to Tottenham “has been agreed”, according to a Sky Sports News reporter.
The young Marseille winger has been strongly linked with a transfer to White Hart Lane over the last 10 days, with Clinton N’jie heading the other way.
Speaking on the television channel on Wednesday night, Sky Sports’ transfer expert Dharmesh Sheth gave an update on the N’Koudou deal.
“Sources in France tell us that the deal to take Marseille striker Georges-Kevin N’Koudou to Tottenham has been agreed,” Sheth told Sky Sports News. “The fee is believed to be in the region of £10.9million.”
Tottenham have not yet announced the N’Koudou deal because N’jie is currently waiting on the renewal of his working visa in France.
The Mirror claimed on Sunday that N’Jie will leave Spurs initially on loan to Marseille with a view to a £7million permanent move that will be triggered by a number of easily-achievable milestones.
Sky Sports reported on their website on Monday evening that the 22-year-old completed a medical with the Ligue 1 club lastweekend.
The delay has had the knock-on effect of also holding up the transfer of N’Koudou to White Hart Lane. N’Koudou has already agreed terms with Tottenham as well as undertaken a medical with the club.
In other Tottenham transfer news, Pochettino will listen to offers for seven senior players in the final weeks of the summer window.
