Manager Slaven Bilic has heaped praise on in-form winger Michail Antonio after a brilliant start to the new season.
The 26-year-old has hit the ground running, netting four times in the last three games with two strikes coming in the 4-2 loss to Watford at the London Stadium on Saturday.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of West Ham’s trip to the Midlands to face West Brom on Saturday, Bilic was quoted by the Hammers’ official Twitter account as saying that he’s delighted with Antonio’s form.
“He’s been brilliant offensively, scoring four goals and is very direct” Bilic said. “He is linking up well with Dimitri Payet.”

The former Nottingham Forest powerhouse’s form has not gone unnoticed, with former Hammers manager Sam Allardyce choosing him in his first England squad as Three Lions boss.
West Ham’s number 30 has continued his impressive form from last season, when he scored 13 goals in 36 league and cup encounters.
Former Croatia manager Bilic will be hoping that Antonio can continue this impressive run of form, as the Hammers look to stop a run of three straight defeats.
The poor start to the season has seen them been knocked out of the Europa League by Romanian minnows Astra Giurgiu and sit just one position above the Premier league relegation table.
A win for the Hammers could see them move into the top half of the Premier League though, if results go their way.
