Sofiane Feghouli has labelled West Ham’s victory over Chelsea on Wednesday evening as a “great result” as his side won 2-1 at the London Stadium.
The two London rivals met in the fourth round of the EFL Cup, which saw the Hammers run out victors with goals from Cheikhou Kouyate and Edimilson Fernandes before Gary Cahill netted in stoppage time.
Feghouli made a 68th minute appearance from the bench coming on for Fernandes and he hailed the result on his personal Twitter account following the match.
Great result tonight ! Let's go to quarter-finals ! / Très bon résultat ce soir ! En avant pour le 1/4 de finale ! #COYI

Feghouli, 26, joined the Hammers on a free deal from La Liga side Valencia in the summer.
He had looked to establish himself as a regular for the east London outfit, but has so far struggled making just six appearances in all competitions for the club scoring one goal.
West Ham themselves are currently in good form following a poor start to the new campaign.
The Chelsea result has meant they have won three of their last four matches in all competitions with a trip to Goodison Park coming up on Sunday.
Ronald Koeman’s side are currently going through the opposite, with a spell of bad form following a good start.
The Toffees have gone five matches without a win in all competitions and West Ham may now see it as a good opportunity to pick up another victory.
