George-Kevin N'Koudou has agreed personal terms with Tottenham, Football Insider sources understand.

Spurs have had a £10.8million bid accepted by Marseille for the France Under-21 international and he is set to fly in to London to put the finishing touches to the transfer in the coming days.

A well-placed Tottenham source has told Football Insider that Spurs have agreed the terms of a five-year contract with N'Koudou after holding talks with his representatives in the last 48 hours.

The 21-year-old is set to undergo a White Hart Lane medical imminently and become Mauricio Pochetino's third signing of the summer.

Spurs will take their spending beyond the £40million mark after completing the purchases of striker Vincent Janssen for £18.8million and Victor Wanyama for £12million..

The 21-year-old joined Marseille from Nantes during last summer and the winger proved to be one of the signings of the Ligue 1 campaign, scoring 10 goals and providing 5 assists in 41 matches in all competitions.

N'Koudou’s exploits were all the more impressive due to the fact that he was playing for a struggling Marseille side.

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is in the market for an attacking midfielder and is keen on recruiting a young player for the position with the potential to improve.

The Londoners have been strongly linked in recent days with Georginio Wijnaldum but it has been reported that Newcastle are holding out for at least £25million for the Dutchman.
