Tottenham will miss out on yet another target today as Barcelona starlet Munir El Haddadi is set to join Valencia on loan, according to a report.

Spanish publication Marca claim that the 20-year-old will join Los Che on loan, with an option to buy.

Spurs had previously been linked to the Spanish winger, as Mauricio Pochettino seeks to add depth to his attack.

Marca also reported that Valencia’s Paco Alcacer would be moving in the opposite direction, and he will join Barcelona after completing his medical with the club.

Munir has 45 Barcelona first-team appearances to his name and has netted 10 goals with 10 assists. Most of these appearances have been off the bench though, and he is behind Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Neymar and Arda Turan in an elite pecking order.

Munir, who also has one cap for Spain, made a fleeting appearance for Barcelona in their return to La Liga action, coming off the bench for 20 minutes in a 6-2 thumping of Real Betis on 20 August.

He was left on the bench in their most recent game, as they triumphed 1-0 over Athletic Bilbao.

In other Tottenham transfer news, these Premier League rivals have joined the race for this Portuguese ace.
