Stan Collymore has predicted that Liverpool will secure a draw in Friday night’s Premier League showdown against Chelsea.

The Merseysiders travel to Stamford Bridge for the mouthwatering clash that pits Antonio Conte’s second-placed team against the sixth-placed visitors.

Broadcaster and ex-Liverpool striker Collymore is convinced that Jurgen Klopp’s side will give the hosts a run for their money and believes the match will finish in a 1-1 draw.

Chelsea appear rejuvenated under Conte after a disastrous 2015-16 season in which they finished a lowly 10th in the table.

The west Londoners have secured 10 points from their opening four league games to leave them behind only Manchester City, who have a 100 per cent record at the start of the new campaign.

Liverpool have also showed promising signs, achieving notable wins over Arsenal and Leicester as well as drawing at Tottenham, to take seven points from their four league encounters.

The Merseysiders will also take heart from the absence of John Terry from the Chelsea line-up on Friday, with error-prone David Luiz taking the place of the injured skipper.
