Stan Collymore has claimed Eden Hazard was a “disgrace” for his performances at Chelsea last season.
The outspoken broadcaster and pundit also claimed on Twitter that the Belgium international is inferior to Arsenal talisman Alexis Sanchez.
In a question-and-answer session on his personal Twitter account, Collymore was asked to give his verdict on which player he preferred out of Hazard and Sanchez.
The former Liverpool striker plumped for the Arsenal man due to his “technical ability and work rate” as he referred to Hazard’s underwhelming performances in Chelsea’s wretched 2015-16 campaign.
Sanchez. Tech ability and work rate. Dream combo for a manager. Hazard was a disgrace last season. https://t.co/ahgMPi4KCt

The 2014-15 PFA player of the year scored just four league goals last season, and just six in all competitions, as his form nosedived at the same time as that of his team.
By contrast, Hazard has been one of the outstanding players this season as his improved form has been integral to Chelsea’s climb to the Premier League summit.
The Belgian has scored eight goals and supplied one assist in 15 appearances in the competition, adding a further assist in the League Cup.
Sanchez has been even more effective for Arsenal, scoring 11 goal and providing six assists in the Premier League plus adding two goals and five more assists in the Champions League.
