Steve Thompson has predicted Celtic to comfortably beat Inverness on Saturday afternoon with a 3-0 victory.
Brendan Rodgers’ side will host Inverness on Saturday, where they will face a club who are currently firmly placed in mid-table in sixth.
Meanwhile, the Hoops are currently dominating Scotland’s top division as they sit nine points clear of fierce rivals Rangers having played a game less.
Thompson, who played for the Gers as well as Scotland during his playing career put his Ibrox ties behind him and predicted a win for Celtic, highlighting their impressive record against Inverness.
“I’m going to stick my neck on the line here,” started Thompson sarcastically on the BBC Sport website. “And go for Celtic 3-0 Inverness. In the last three meetings between the sides at Parkhead Celtic have scored 12 goals. Inverness are doing well and have only lost one game in their last nine, but five of those have been draws, Celtic too strong, 3-0.”
Celtic last played Inverness in February at home, where they played out a 3-0 victory.
The Hoops will be looking to continue dominating Scottish football, as they look to secure their 47th league title and sixth in a row.
The club have been prepared well ahead of the clash with a midweek draw against Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League.
