Winger Georges-Kevin N’Koudou is in London as Tottenham bid to resolve the issues holding up his transfer from Marseille, according to a report.

Sky Sports claimed on their website last weekend that Spurs are having to renegotiate the N’Koudou-Clinton N’Jie swap deal agreed last month because of a change of ownership at the French giants.

However, talks have stalled and N’Jie was seen arriving for training with the likes of Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen and Eric Dier on Tuesday, as Spurs prepare for their first Premier League game of the season this Saturday away to Everton.

French football website Le Phoceen claim that N’Koudou is still in London waiting for the deal to be confirmed, but talks have stalled again over terms.

It is said that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has asked for clauses to be incorporated into the deal with Marseille in case N’Koudou gets injured.

Sky reported that winger N’Koudou completed a medical and agreed personal terms with Spurs on 19 July, while N’Jie also agreed to go the other way and join Marseille on loan.

The deal was initially delayed because N’Jie had to wait on the renewal of his working visa in France after completing a medical with the Ligue 1 club in London.

N’Jie was granted a work permit on 5 August and had been in Paris, while N’Koudou is also waiting to make the move the other way three weeks after Spurs agreed to buy him for £10.8million from Marseille.

N’Koudou joined Marseille from Nantes during last summer and the winger proved to be one of the signings of the Ligue 1 campaign, scoring 10 goals and providing 5 assists in 41 matches in all competitions.

The 21-year-olds’s exploits were all the more impressive due to the fact that he was playing for a struggling Marseille side.
