Swansea midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson has signed a new four-year deal at the club, it was announced on Tuesday.
The Telegraph claimed last month that Everton were lining up a £25million bid for the Icelandic star.
But Swansea confirmed on their official Twitter account that Sigurdsson has committed to the Welsh club until 2020.

The Merseyside club have not finished their transfer business with Swansea yet as Wales Online reported on Monday night that Ashley Williams is set to complete a £10million move to Goodison Park within 48 hours.
Williams helped Swansea to a twelfth-placed finish last season before being a key figure for Wales as they reached the semi-finals of Euro 2016.
He has two years remaining on his current deal and has developed himself into one of the most reliable defenders in the Premier League, starting all but two of Swansea’s 38 league matches last season.
Sigurdsson started every game for the Iceland team which upset the odds to reach the quarter-finals of Euro 2016 in their first major tournament.
The attacking midfielder grabbed 11 goals in the Premier League last season, with nine of those coming since the turn of the year.
Everton recently appointed former Leicester assistant manager Steve Walsh as the Merseysiders’ new director of football and he may have played an immediate role in their pursuit of Sigurdsson. His former employers were previously linked with a move for the international star.
In other Everton transfer news, Pat Nevin has shared the three qualities that will make Williams a great signing for the club.
