TalkRadio host Jonny Gould has taken to Twitter to blast Newcastle during their defeat to Fulham on Friday night.
Gould questioned whether the north-east giants were equipped for the unique rigours of the Championship as they started their Championship campaign with a shock 1-0 defeat at Craven Cottage.
Matt Smith scored the only goal of the game with a powerful header just before half-time.
Former TalkSport host Gould hit out at the Magpies on his personal Twitter account, after they went a goal down against their London host.
The outspoken news reporter commented on Newcastle having the “superstar manager” and the “most talented players”, but questioned whether they were ready for England’s second tier.
#nufc may well have the superstar manager and the most talented players – but who says that equips them for the Championship?

Newcastle have been widely tipped to bounce back to the Premier League at the first time of asking after suffering relegation last season.
The club managed to retain former Real Madrid boss Rafa Benitez after the Spaniard took over the team in March.
Owner Mike Ashley has also moved to strengthen the club and has sanctioned deals for eight players totalling £45.5million.
Newcastle last played in the Championship in the 2009-10 season finishing at the top of the league with an impressive 102 points.
