TalkSport have ranked Tottenham as the second most entertaining Premier League side in the new campaign.

The popular radio station talkSPORT ranked each of England’s top-flight sides on their style of play in the current campaign.

They have placed Spurs, who are currently unbeaten in the league in second place behind Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool team and above London rivals Chelsea and Arsenal, who are placed in third and fourth.

“Spurs have improved in every department since Mauricio Pochettino arrived two summer’s ago,” wrote the station on their website. “Organised and intimidating in each position on the pitch. Tottenham have become serious contenders for the Premier League title. Pochettino is physically demanding of his squad, allowing no room for luxury players and his team have become one of the toughest teams to face. The Argentine has implemented a new high pressing style of play and the response has been perfect. They could do with scoring a few more goals, as it stands, and will welcome back Harry Kane with open arms.”

Tottenham fans will be happy to see their side placed above their fierce London rivals.

However, ironically they will face, who TalkSport perceive as the most entertaining side in the EFL Cup at Anfield on Tuesday evening.

The clash is set to be an enthralling encounter between Liverpool in third place on 20 points and Spurs in fifth place on 19 points.

Little separates the two sides in the league and when they met earlier in the season, they played out a 1-1 stalemate.

However, in the cup there will be a guaranteed winner either after 90 minutes, extra-time or penalties with the teams competing to book their place in the fifth round of the tournament.

In other Tottenham news, Mauricio Pochettino claims that Spurs sensation Marcus Edwards would be one of the biggest prospects in football if he was born elsewhere.
