Barcelona star Luis Suarez has swapped his shooting boots for goalkeeping gloves during training for Uruguay.
Suarez, 29, has been hungry for goals (pun intended) since his move from Liverpool to Barca in 2014 but has now tried his hand between the sticks.
The former Merseyside ace went in goal ahead of Uruguay’s World Cup qualifier against Colombia.
Suarez wasted no time in making his presence felt as Diego Godin was put to the floor after a hefty collision.
Fans will be hoping the striker doesn’t have to make the switch permanently as Uruguay need goals in their Columbia clash.
The two teams faced off in the World Cup last 16 two years ago, a game which Colombia won 2-0.
Suarez has scored 299 goals and provided 181 assists in 433 matches throughout his career, which is hardly the worst record going.
