Aston Villa owner Tony Xia has reacted angrily on Twitter amid claims he does not have the money to lead the club back to the big time.
Randy Lerner agreed to sell the club to the Chinese businessman in May before the £75million takeover was rubber-stamped in June.
Xia recently set-up his personal Twitter account to interact with supporters about various topics but, when a fan questioned his wealth, the tycoon gave a blunt response.
“Tell your mate to read more books to get wisdom instead read too many nasty useless articles from nasty medias.” said Xia on his personal Twitter account.

The 39-year-old has sanctioned the purchase of three new players since buying Aston Villa from Lerner.
The Championship side have recruited Bournemouth captain Tommy Elphick signing for a fee of £3million, goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini joining for £4.1million and Aaron Tshibola transferring for £5million.
But, soon after the exchange, the club’s supporters were quick to defend their owner.
