Aston Villa owner Tony Xia has revealed that he wants to recruit five more senior figures this summer.
The Chinese businessman has already built up a reputation for being outspoken on the social media site after taking over the club this summer and he has now told supporters that he is hoping to bring in up to four more players alongside an experienced technical director.
The Villa chairman took to Twitter on Thursday afternoon to reply to a fan about whether the club would make any more signings.
“Hope we can make at least 3-4 happen soon…and a experienced professional TD,” said Xia on his social media platform.

The Tweet comes after the Midlands giants announced the signing of Ross McCormack from Fulham in a £12million deal on Thursday morning.
Intriguingly, Villa ambassador Ian Taylor has stated that the club are in the market for another striker, after signing McCormack.
Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford has previously been linked with the club and he could be an option for Roberto Di Matteo to add to his striking options.
Di Matteo now has four senior strikers at club with Jordan Ayew, Rudy Gestede and the much-criticised Gabby Agbonlahor all vying for a starting place.
Ayew scored on seven occasions last term, while Gestede found the net on five occasions, but it was boyhood Villa fan, Agbonlahor who was lambasted by fans as he scored only one goal all season.
In other Aston Villa transfer news, defender Easah Suliman has joined League Two side Cheltenham.
