Galatasaray have joined the race for Tottenham target Yunus Malli, according to a report.

TurkishFootball.com citing Milliyet claim that the Turkish giants are considering making a move for the Mainz attacking midfielder if Wesley Sneijder is sold this summer.

The former Borussia Mönchengladbach player has just two year left on his current deal and could be tempted by a move to the Premier League with Spurs.

Football Insider have already reported that the Dutch star could be on his way to Everton as Ronald Koeman looks to rebuild the squad under new owner Farhad Moshiri.

Tottenham fans will be weary of Galatasaray’s approach after already missing out on £33million Marseille forward Michy Batshuayi to Chelsea this summer.

The Express linked the north London club with a move for the 24-year-old back in March but no deal was agreed between the two sides for the player’s services.

The move would see Malli link up with Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen and Eric Lamela in a star-studded attack that prepares to fight on all front next season after Mauricio Pochettino’s side qualified for the Champions League.

In other Tottenham news, Spurs defender Jan Vertonghen could be sidelined for up to four months because of an ankle injury – and Spurs fans are dismayed by the potentially shattering blow.
