Tottenham will be without senior trio Toby Alderweireld, Erik Lamela and Ben Davies against West Ham and Dele Alli has been labelled a doubt.

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed the latest team news for his side’s Premier League home game against the Hammers on Saturday.

The absence of centre-back Alderweireld, left-bac Davies and attacking midfielder Lamela leaves Pochettino without three key players.

The Argentine is also sweating on the fitness of England international Alli, who is recovering from a knee problem.

Pochettino revealed the latest at a press conference on Thursday afternoon and did confirm that everyone else is available for selection, as cited by the club’s official Twitter account.

Alderweireld has missed the club’s last six games with a knee injury and was expected to return after the international break.

The 27-year-old centre-back has been a noticeable absence in the Spurs side, who have not won a game during his spell on the sidelines.

Spurs midfielder Lamela has missed the last three games with a hip injury and is also going to miss the important league meeting with West Ham, who are currently just a point above the relegation places in 17th.

Welshman Davies picked up an ankle injury in the Champions League defeat to Bayer Leverkusen and has not played since, including being omitted from his nation’s squad in the World Cup qualifier draw with Serbia.

Pochettino will be hoping that his attacking midfielder Alli can make a comeback against the Hammers, although his inclusion is unlikely.

Alli twisted his knee in training at the beginning of November and missed the 1-1 draw against north London rivals Arsenal.

The Englishman is one of the creative sparks in the Spurs team and has scored three goals so far this season in 14 games.

The only positive news the Spurs supporter can take is that Harry Kane is available against the hammers, with the Englishman withdrawing from international duty early to continue his recovery from a long-term layout through injury.

In other Tottenham team news, Dele Alli has trolled Eric Dier in the latest amusing spar between the pair.
