Tottenham are likely to make three changes to the side that recorded a 1-1 draw away at West Brom on Saturday afternoon, when they travel to Bayern Leverkusen on Tuesday night.
Son Heung-Min, Kieran Trippier and Eric Dier could return for the tough Champions League fixture in Germany, with Vincent Janssen, Kyle Walker and Toby Alderweireld missing out.
South Korean international Son, who was a substitute during his sides previous encounter might start in midweek after being the star performer for the north London in recent weeks.
Mauricio Pochettino is likely to continue with his rotation of full-backs with Trippier coming in for Walker at right-back.
Versatile defender Dier could start at centre-back, alongside Jan Vertonghen, after regular starter Alderweireld was forced off injured at the Hawthorns on Saturday.
The reliable Hugo Lloris will be looking to continue his place in goal, with Ben Davies most likely making up the rest of the Spurs backline.
Victor Wanyama could be the defensive shield for Pochettino’s side, with playmakers Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli expected further forward.
Moussa Sissoko might continue on the right, with Eric Lamela occupying the left flank, as the duo aim to provide forward Son with the service.
Pochettino’s side are second in their Champions League group, with three points to their name, following their win at CSKA Moscow.
Their opponents have picked up two draws and could leapfrog them into second place with a win on Tuesday night.
