Harry Kane is preparing to sign a new five-year Tottenham contract – and supporters are over the moon.
The Guardian claim that this season’s Premier League Golden Boot winner is about to put pen to paper on a new deal that would make the 22-year-old the highest paid player at the club.
The Tottenham striker finished as the Premier League’s highest scorer in 2015-16, netting an impressive 25 goals to follow his 21 strikes in the competition in his breakthrough 2014-15 campaign.
The report claims the deal is worth almost £100,000 a week, over a five year period.
Spurs fans took to Twitter to celebrate the news that their star player will be scoring goals for the north London outfit for a while longer.
