Harry Kane starts for Tottenham against Arsenal – and fans on Twitter were overjoyed at his return.
Striker Kane last played for Spurs during the 1-0 win over Sunderland in September, but he has made a return to action after recovering from an ankle injury.
Unsurprisingly, fans were ecstatic that Kane had made a comeback in their most crucial game of the season as Tottenham travel to the Emirates to take on their bitter rivals.
One supporter stated that the 23-year-old will tear the Gunners apart as he has a very good record in north London derbies.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:
Prior to his injury Kane had scored two goals in six Premier League games this season, including the last fixture he played in against Sunderland.
Kane boasts a very good record against the Gunners scoring four goals in four league appearances against them.
A win for Arsenal would take them top of the Premier League table on 26 points, but a victory for Spurs would mean they would go level with the Gunners going into the international break.
In other Tottenham team news, Alan Shearer believes these four midfielders need to step up the plate ahead of the north London derby.
