Dele Alli has been named in the Tottenham starting line-up to take on Bayern Leverkusen at Wembley – and fans on Twitter have welcomed his selection for the Champions League group game.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side take on the Bundesliga giants, as they aim to get their first Champions League win under their belt on home soil.
Spurs have had a mixed bag of results in their first three games, losing to Monaco at Wembley, beating CSKA 1-0 in Russia and drawing 0-0 against Leverkusen in the reverse fixture.
Alli, 20, has started in all three fixtures for the north London club, as he hopes to make an impact on Tuesday night, in front of 90,000 supporters.

England international Alli has made 13 Premier League and Champions League appearances this term, scoring three goals, but he is yet to provide an assist.
Additionally, he has failed to contribute to a goal in 262 minutes of Champions League football, as he hopes to make his mark against the German outfit at Wembley.
In other Tottenham team news, club legend Glenn Hoddle has named his best-ever Spurs XI, where he has left out Real Madrid start Gareth Bale.
