Harry Kane’s Tottenham future is increasingly uncertain amid reports that contract talks are on hold – but fans on Twitter are convinced he will sign an extension.
The Sun have claimed that both parties are at loggerheads with Spurs refusing to offer a deal in line with Kane’s England strike partners or even make him one of the highest earners at White Hart Lane.
The 23-year-old is still contracted until 2020 with the club and he earns £60,000-a-week.
Supporters have played down the reports in the media as they firmly believe Kane will put pen to paper on a new deal.
One fan stated that owner Daniel Levy understands the importance of home-grown talent and that he will offer Kane the contract he requires.
But there was a certain section of supporters who urged Levy to pay their star striker the money he wants as they questioned whether he will sign a new contract.

@neilashton_ loves a negative story about Tottenham. The story about Kane is a non starter. Home grown Kane, isn't demanding more money,

@RickSpur I agree but surely he will look at others earning double that and feel he deserves the same!

Kane made his debut for the team in 2011 during a Europa League clash against Hearts.
He has since made 134 appearances for the club with an impressive return of 67 goals, establishing himself as one of the side’s huge stars.
