Christian Eriksen scored twice in Tottenham’s 3-0 victory against Hull on Wednesday – and the club’s supporters were delighted with his performance.
The 24-year-old scored either side of half-time and nearly grabbed a hat-trick from a free-kick, but he was denied by goalkeeper David Marshall and Victor Wanyama capitalised to tap in a third goal.
Spurs remain fifth in the Premier League table and responded well to their 1-0 defeat against Manchester United in their last game.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side dominated the game against relegation-threatened Hull and Eriksen is beginning to look back to his best.
The attacking midfielder has now scored five goals in his last five games across all competitions and is easing the burden on striker Harry Kane.
Spurs fans were thrilled with Eriksen’s performance against Hull and feel that he is in fantastic form.

Eriksen helped inspire the victory on Wednesday night and is very likely to line-up against Burnely on Sunday, when Spurs will be looking to close the three-point gap on fourth-placed Manchester City.
The Denmark international has now scored 37 goals for the north London club in 154 appearances and will be looking for another successful season in front of goal.
He has now scored seven goals in all competitions and is proving to be a major goal threat alongside Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane this season.
Eriksen remains a favourite under manager Mauricio Pochettino and has kept his place in the starting XI this season despite some inconsistent patches.
In other Tottenham news, Ledley King believes that this player is crucial to the club’s success.
