Danny Rose is a doubt for Tottenham’s match against Bournemouth – but the club’s supporters are not too worried about the news on Twitter.
The 26-year-old defender suffered a foot injury midweek in the 0-0 draw against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League.
He managed to play the full 90 minutes against the German side but left the ground in a protective boot.
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that Rose will be assessed ahead of Saturday’s clash against Bournemouth, after it was confirmed that the England international had picked up a bruised foot.
The left-back is a crucial player in the Spurs team and provides great energy and pace down the wing.
Spurs fans are concerned about the injury to their senior defender but feel that his understudy Ben Davies provides strong cover.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Rose has already suffered an injury this season, missing six games with a hamstring injury.
Pochettino does have strong cover in Welshman Davies and he could be the safer option to start in the away clash with Bournemouth.
Rose has established himself as a regular starter in recent seasons and is an important member of a strong Spurs defence.
The Englishman has now made 128 appearances for the north London club since he moved to White Hart Lane in 2007 from Leeds.
He also has 10 international caps and is competing with Ryan Bertrand for a starting position.
In other Tottenham team news, the club’s senior player has made a bold claim about Hugo Lloris.
