Mauricio Pochettino gave defender Carter-Vickers and midfielder Winks their full debuts in the League Cup clash at White Hart Lane, as they look to prevent a giant killing from Justin Edinburgh’s side.

Spurs made 11 changes to the side that beat Sunderland at the weekend, with Christian Eriksen returning to the line-up after being dropped on Sunday.

Tottenham fans were looking forward to seeing their youngsters in action as they lauded Pochettino for picking a mix of youth and experience.
