Ben Davies started in defence for Tottenham in the Wednesday evening clash against Bayer Leverkusen and fans were left unimpressed with his display.
The 23-year-old full-back had replaced Danny Rose in the line-up in the line-up for the Champions League clash at Wembley
He played the 73 minutes in the north London side’s 1-0 defeat against Leverkusen following a Kevin Kampl strike.
Fans were left disappointed with what they had seen from the Wales international on social media, with one stating that he shouldn’t even play as a full-back.

Davies completed a move to White Hart Lane in 2014 from Premier League rivals Swansea.
He has made just nine appearances for Tottenham in the new campaign in all competitions with Rose establishing himself as the club’s first choice left-back.
Spurs are currently sat in third place in their Champions League Group E following the result on Wednesday evening, with French club Monaco beating CSKA Moscow with a 3-0 result.
Tottenham will travel to France to face Monaco next in the Champions League and they will be looking to avenge a 2-1 defeat suffered when the two side’s last met.
