Tottenham fans reacted with delight as Mauricio Pochettino confirmed Harry Kane will be returning to the squad as they face Arsenal on Sunday.
The two teams go head-to-head at the Emirates and Tottenham have been boosted by the return of their star striker following a two-month absence.
Pochettino explained Kane will return during a press conference on Friday afternoon though he did not reveal whether the England international will be in the starting XI.
It is possible Kane will start as a substitute after missing 10 matches but it is certainly a boost for Spurs who have scored just six league goals in his absence.
Kane will be involved but the manager also confirmed Toby Alderweireld will miss out and Mousa Dembele and Eric Lamela are both doubts.
Tottenham remain unbeaten in the Premier League but have picked up just one victory in their last seven games in all competitions and go into the game off the back of a 1-0 defeat against Bayer Leverkusen.
Arsenal are currently level on points at the top of the Premier League with Manchester City and Liverpool and have not lost a game since their opening weekend defeat against the Merseysiders.
