Tottenham fans reacted on Twitter with delight for striker Harry Kane as he returned to goalscoring ways with a penalty against Arsenal.
Austria international Kevin Wimmer scored an own goal towards the end of the first half, which looked to have succumbed Spurs to a 1-0 loss against their North London rivals.
However, Tottenham’s number 10 stroked home a penalty early in the second half after Mousa Dembele went down in the penalty area under the challenge of Laurent Koscielny to earn a 1-1 draw.
Kane made his first return to the side since September, after being sidelined with an ankle injury which he picked up against Premier League strugglers Sunderland.
The Spurs academy graduate provided the missing spark up front, as Spurs secured a point against the odds at the Emirates.

Kane’s goal though was not enough to see Spurs end their winless streak of six games, which now stretched to seven in all competitions after the 1-1 draw.
Tottenham’s number 10 was substituted in the 73rd minute by out-of-form forward Vincent Janssen.
With injury preventing him from appearing more, Kane has made just seven appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals all in the Premier League.
In other Tottenham news, this is why Dele Alli was not included in Spurs’ midfield.
