Tottenham fans were impressed with new signing Moussa Sissoko on Twitter, after he starred for France against the Netherlands.

Sissoko, who moved to North London on deadline day for £30million, was part of Didier Deschamps’ side that earned a 1-0 victory against Danny Blind’s Netherlands in Group A of the 2018 World Cup qualification stage.

The former Toulouse star played on the right wing of France’s 4-2-3-1 system, lining up alongside Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann and West Ham’s Dimitri Payet.

The win pushes France level on points with Group A leaders Sweden in the 2018 World Cup qualifying phase, as they sit ahead of the likes of Luxembourg, Bulgaria and Belarus.

Spurs fans were impressed with their new signing on Twitter, with the former Newcastle man showing Tottenham fans his pace and power on the France counter attack.

The versatile midfield man saw out the entire 90 minutes against Netherlands,  just three days after remaining on the pitch for the entirety of France’s emphatic 4-1 triumph against Bulgaria.

Didier Deschamps side will now face Sweden on November 11, before facing the Ivory Coast in a friendly four days later.
