Moussa Sissoko came off with a suspected injury in the second-half against Middlesbrough on Saturday but the club’s fans voiced their frustration on Twitter over his performance.
Tottenham completed a 2-1 victory in the Premier League, with Heung-Min Son grabbing a first-half brace to secure the three points.
Sissoko was making just his fourth appearance for Spurs since his £30million summer arrival from Newcastle.
The 27-year-old is yet to register a goal or an assist and has failed to yet to live up to his hefty price tag so far.
The club’s supporters expressed their anger on Twitter about Sissoko’s performance and some believe that Erik Lamela should play ahead of him.
