Moussa Sissoko made his league debut for Tottenham against Sunderland and the club’s fans expressed their delight on Twitter over his performance.
Spurs recorded a 1-0 victory at home to Sunderland thanks to a second-half Harry Kane goal and Sissoko completed 90 minutes on his first start.
The midfielder was making his third appearance for Spurs, after being used as a substitute against Stoke and Monaco, and helped his team maintain their unbeaten league start.
Sissoko, 27, completed a £30million switch to White Hart Lane on deadline-day after being heavily linked with a move to Everton.
The club’s supporters took to Twitter to praise the display of Sissoko and believe that he will continue to develop at Spurs.

Thought Sissoko was pretty decent. Very promising flashes considering playing out of his natural position in a new system

But Sissoko did well today, great to finally see a player that doesn't mind trying to beat the fullback #COYS

The result was marred by injuries to Kane, Mousa Dembele and Eric Dier which forced the trio off in the second-half, which the club’s fans voiced their concern about on Twitter after the match.
Sissoko operated on the right wing in Mauricio Pochettino’s side and tested left-back Javier Manquillo all game.
The midfielder was keen to force a move away from St James’ Park this summer after Newcastle’s relegation from the top-flight last season.
He delivered some impressive performances at Euro 2016 with France and was the standout performer in their 1-0 defeat to Portugal in the final.
Sissoko managed to complete his switch to Spurs and can also play in the centre of midfield as well as operating on the wing.
Spurs host Gillingham in the EFL Cup third-round on Wednesday, before travelling to face Middlesbrough in their next league encounter on Saturday.
In other Tottenham team news, the club’s fans reacted on Twitter to Heung-min Son’s performacne against Sunderland.
